Acknowledgement of Country app for iPhone and iPad

ACPA Acknowledgement is a video resource that can be played at public or private events in recognition of the traditional custodians of the land, instead of a Welcome to Country.



Before settlement, the area we know today as Brisbane was home to communities who lived in harmony with the abundance of life within this land and waters. An Acknowledgement of Country is a homage to the Aboriginal people, their stories and culture, and their respect for and care for country.



This video supports you to appropriately honour respects, without the embarrassment of getting it wrong.

The Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts is dedicated to creating the country’s next great artists. We are a training centre offering performing arts courses in the genres of stage and screen, music, and dance. We are a not-for-profit organisation wholly owned by the Queensland Government. We regularly perform acknowledgement and cultural performances within our community, for corporate events and opening ceremonies.



The video is available as a single download or a package purchase. Downloads expire within the applicable timeframes specified at the time of purchase. Any unused downloads after the expiry will be forfeited.
